welcomes your participation in the 1st annual Two Passions One Cause Total Look Beauty Competition and Fashion Extravaganza. This event will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at the beautiful Gillespie in downtown Louisville, Kentucky.
This event will showcase you as one of the hottest and baddest hair stylists, barbers, and nail techs in the region competing in a Total Look Competition for over $7000 in cash and prizes.
Our host and event creator, Mr. Gerald Grady, knows first hand the plight of kidney disease and the need for more education and donors for kidney transplantation. As a kidney transplant recipient of two years and after spending 11 years on dialysis treatment, Mr. Grady’s passion for the education of the disease and its prevention coupled with his 21 year career as a successful cosmetologist in the beauty industry, his sole mission is to utilize his experiences to get others aware, involved and committed to healthier living and to consider the need and importance of organ donation. One organ donor can save up to seven (7) lives.
With your help, we will be able to promote the joy of health and beauty – inside and out, in conjunction with bringing heightened awareness to the risk factors, early detection and treatment associated with Kidney Disease particularly in minority groups. |
